I took this image at the library. I intended the subject (the sculpture) to be in crisp focus. The picture is taken in auto mode. The subject is in foreground and the rest of the background is blurred.
This picture of the flower is taken before Orton effect.
In this picture, after the application of the Orton effect, the subject is more clear and focused and the background is blurred out considerably.
This image shows us the depth of field. I intended the foot bridge to be the subject, and gave the image a crisp and clear focus.
